| Abstract | The article examines the theoretical foundations of information technologies in the financial and economic activities of enterprises. Information system components are installed. The concept of information technologies has been studied. The goal of information technology is established. The main principles of information technologies are considered. The advantages and disadvantages of using information systems and technologies in the work of the enterprise are highlighted. The goal of any information technology is to obtain necessary information of the required quality on a given medium. At the same time, there are limitations on the cost of data processing, the complexity of the processes of using information resource, the reliability and efficiency of the information processing process, the quality of the information received. Modern information technologies make it possible to create a unified information environment, the physical basis of which is integrated computer networks and communication systems, which makes it possible to monitor and coordinate technological processes and business activities of any organization. This approach involves technical, organizational, and methodological integration of such basic areas of management as production, organization, marketing, finance, accounting, personnel, and design. Information technologies and systems cover the entire public space and all spheres of the economy. Information technology can be called a system that performs the functions of information collection, its storage, processing and transmission to users for decision-making, forecasting, accounting, control, regulation, etc. Effective management of the enterprise, first of all, depends on the use of information technologies that provide it with timely, objective and accurate information. A modern information system should be created as an integral part of the enterprise, which includes business architecture, personnel and information technologies. | ||
